One Step Forward

Goals are a good thing! Just a few days after registering for my first race ever (6K next weekend!) I managed to string together my first ever 4 miles at a 9-minute-mile pace. I know, still as slow as molasses. But now I’m getting up to molasses that has been warmed up a little, whereas initially I was molasses from the fridge. Baby steps!

On the other hand, that whole practicing patience thing? Totally failed today. Potty training + demanding work day is not an equation with good results for me. Thankfully, mercies are new every morning.
