37/365: Master Chef Jr

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so my kids spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Besides it being a nice reminder that your kids do and say what you do and say, for better or for worse, they’re actually learning a lot and are starting to be quite helpful! This day, my 5-year-old mixed up the tortilla dough and rolled the dough into balls while I pressed the balls into tortillas, then my 6-year-old manned the tortilla pan all by herself, flipping and all.

She was very excited to be able to show off her mad tortilla flipping skills to a friend. I wonder if Master Chef Jr will still be a show when she’s eight…
