80/365: Traffic Control

My toddler and preschool boys are a complete mystery to me.

They spend half an hour (which might as well be an eternity in toddler time) building a block tower taller than their heads, and before taking even a fraction of a second to savor the accomplishment they boisterously and gleefully crush it.

One minute they’re launching cars over the hill hoping to make them splatter on the sidewalk below, and the next minute they flip some invisible switch and start meticulously lining them up, carefully driving them over bumps, parking them just so in perfect rows…


I love love love having them around, but I definitely don’t get them.
